Introducing… Deiby Ketlin Najoan
My sur name is Deiby Ketlin Najoan, but everyone on campus calls me “Key”.
I am a full time staff member, who has been working with STK since 2000. I started my job in Registration and right now, I am handling the financial department duties for STK. I have been serving in STK with my husband, Herry Korengkeng, who is now a full-time teacher, as well the Student Dean.
Herry and I were married June 2002, and we have two children, a son who is now 16 years old and a daughter who will turn 7 years old this coming March.
In 2017, I was challenged to enroll in the Masters program, to become a teacher. It was a big challenge for me, because I had finished my Sarjana about 17 years prior; I have not been in formal class ever since. I had never considered that I would be able to continue my education to the higher level.
For me, continuing education is a privilege from God. It also means God wants me to serve Him better. So, I accepted the challenge and registered in the Master Program in STAT (Sekolah Tinggi Alkitab Tiranus), at Bandung city.
I was accepted as a Master degree student, in June of 2017. Not long after, I started my program there, travelling to West Java and stayed there for one full month. Praise the Lord, this is now my 4th semester and I have started to write my thesis.
Thank you to API who already provided the funds for our study program in Bandung. I am now looking forward to finish my program, so I can be ready to serve God better through teaching Christian Education subjects in STK! I do need your support prayers to finish this program according to schedule.
